Boston & NYC Class Reg Opens! | Lawn mowing Videos | Recap of last weekend

Shoutout to our partners for making these events happen!!

I cannot believe it’s April already.

This past weekend in NYC we had some unreal event turnout, selling out every event!!! —

Friday was our Heatwise x Recess Yoga Class.

Saturday we ran with 50 Lime members and the team at Hoka Flatiron.

And, Monday night over 60 people came and saw April Fooled, our magic x comedy show with Stand Up Magic.

Recaps for each of these events will be posted on instagram today.

Tickets opening up for Bodied Fitness class in NYC and for Studio Format in Boston.

See ya there!!

xx,

Caite

P.S I would LOVE to give another shoutout to all our partners from this past weekend for making these events come to life:

Heatwise Yoga is an elevated hot yoga experience. They have studios throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan and run some of the best vinyasa flows I have been a part of.

Recess launched a new mocktail line that is so delicious. You get the feeling of ‘participating’ socially, without needing to grab an alcoholic bev. (also we are just big Recess fans over here!)

Hoka’s new Flagship in Flatiron is stunning, the team is amazing and they are building an awesome ecosystem to support all types of athletes. Over the weekend they gifted everyone some Hoka swag and hopped in on the run with us! PS They are hosting a run with Kate Glavan this weekend as well, details here

Happy Moose produces some of the best wellness shots in the game - they use heirloom produce, it’s organic, farmed in Cali and you can tell how fresh it is! My favorite shot was the ‘pep in your step’!!

Recover 180 is the only organic sports drink formulated for balanced hydration. It was an amazing addition to my post-run hydration, and I will 100% be using these drinks throughout summer training blocks.

GNGR Labs brought us their spicy ginger shots - a fan favorite and Brooklyn-created product. Lime members also got an exclusive look at their new energy shot, not yet out on the market!

For Wellness offers a ton of health supplements from proteins to recovery gummies! Use Code ‘LIMESOCIAL’ for 25% off sitewide!!

Stand Up Magic co-produced Monday night’s Comedy Show, April Fooled. The team at Stand Up Magic hosts a show every other Sunday in Brooklyn, and is a sight to be seen. It is hands down one of the best shows in the city — and all under $30!!!!!

This guy gave away $8,500 for $80,000 in return (Lets do some math)

Grass cutting videos give me the immediate satisfaction I crave.

What starts off as a disaster (overgrown homes, tons of debris, sometimes covered sidewalks and discolored driveways), end up as beautiful properties within a days work… or an hour video.

There are a handful of accounts I watch (lol, embarrassing), but the main guy is Spencer at SB Mowing.

His YouTube channel got me thinking:

Spencer works out of Wichita, Kansas.

He travels a bit into Arkansas, Texas and other southern states nearby for some bigger jobs.

The top earners for a Kansas-based Landscaper would take home just under $45,000 a year.

All of Spenser’s videos are jobs he has donated, just to help make homes look nicer.

He does this once a week. Lets say 9 hours of free labor weekly.

The opportunity cost of him giving away a full day of work (assuming he works 50 hour weeks, then adjusted for some holidays… 48 hours a week) would mean he is losing about $8,500 a year.

Thats 18% of his yearly salary at $45,000.

Heres the cool part though.

His Free days are what fund the content on his youtube channel.

Which boasts 1.2 million subscribers.

Lets be conservative here and say he makes the lower end on youtube.

With 1.2M subs, he could be bringing in about $80,000 per year, not accounting for affiliate links, partnerships or paid promotion.

If we break that number down to the hours he works for the content…

Those 9 hours of “free” labor actually make around $1,538.

Isn’t all that just so… Cool.

We love a (nice) double-edged sword. Charity & Income. Go Spencer!
