My Dad was at 9/11 - He responded after the towers were hit, all the way from Westchester. He had taken the day to drop off my little brother at his first day of pre-school.
NYC on this day always has an eerie feeling to me.
So today, instead of a bubbly-happy-go-lucky email, I just wanted to remember those who responded and those who are forever affected by the remanence of 9/11.
Community is a powerful thing — And New Yorkers may be the most passionate and resilient group of all.
