Which, doesn’t change much for me. I eat peanut butter every day — But!! What’s cool is that I found this calendar online that lists out all the national days in the US.

Pretty Odd.

Okay, maybe don’t copy exactly… but here’s the gist:

When I am not writing this or setting up events, I work in a creative field, and something I have always found interesting was that bosses usually tell me to find a competitor and then just do what they did.

Though, I make it more us somehow.

Well — I am bringing this up because I saw on Instagram this kid who randomly started posting that he was taking an ice bath every day until next Christmas.

He was a bit odd and funny — Within 2 weeks he accumulated over 250K followers on Instagram and was sent 5+ ice baths.

After that, my feed was filled with:

• Kid Who did one pull-up every day for every 50 followers

• Girl who ran an inch for every follower.

• Person who is creating a conga line around the world for each follower (current IG follower count: 1M)

• Boy that at a TBSP of peanut butter for every 50 followers.

The list goes on.

My point is though: Viral things either are a one-time winner, or they did well for a reason. You can take the same premise of an idea, reconfigure it to be on brand for you.. and let it free.

All of these accounts have accumulated insane amounts of followers within days.

So — Work smarter, not harder :)

• Just and analog and digital clock in one.

• I found the best LinkedIn Profile to exist. This woman, Joan, is a writer, marketer, and all-around cool person. Outside of her super clear, concise, and thought-provoking post on LinkedIn — she couldn’t be more unserious. She went viral off of this post when she declared she was closing her tech marketing agency to write again. Check her out here - and I dare you to check out the website she has linked in her profile.

• I saw some interesting journal prompts online that I liked, so I wanted to share them:

  • If you were in a room with everyone you ever met, who would be the person you looked for? 

  • If someone gave you a box of everything you ever lost, what would you look for first?

  • If you had the chance to relive one day of your life, which day would it be and why? 

  • If you could receive a letter from your future self, what advice or insight would you hope to find in it? 

  • Imagine you had a chance to choose a moment from your past, which moment would you choose? Would you choose to do anything differently - if anything at all?

  • If you had to define your purpose in one sentence, what would it be? How does it influence the choices in your daily life?

• Early Feb: Purse Power: Lime Social Club will be hosting an open conversation and Q&A with Financial Planning Experts to help us better understand best practices, how to start small, and what financial freedom can look like.

  • Caite’s Note: I am personally really excited about this — I don’t think enough women talk about money with each other and how to best invest it, what to do with it or what their accounts really look like. We will have experts there to chat with and will open up a submission form for people to send in questions beforehand. & this won’t be stuffy. Think: fun, laughing, drinks, snacks, NYC picnic tables but also education, power creation and women helping lift women. This will be fun but also a catalyst to help better prepare ourselves for a future of financial freedom!

• Saturday, Feb 17, All Day: Lime Social Club Self Love Day We love love, but we also love taking care of our mind and body! Start the day off with movement, meditation, and art followed by an evening activity. Each activity will be sold separately so you can participate where you want. Details to come.
